Newcastle fans aren’t interested in having Jose Mourinho as their next manager and have urged the club to stick with Eddie Howe.
According to The Guardian, the 61-year-old Portuguese coach is interested in taking over from Eddie Howe should the club decide to part ways.
It’s reported that Mourinho is unhappy at Fenerbahce after a series of high-profile clashes with officials and a lack of improvement on the pitch as they sit in third, five points behind arch-rivals Galatasaray.
Mourinho is said to have ‘unfinished business, in the Premier League after ill-fated spells at Chelsea, Man United, and Tottenham.
The news comes on the same day that Howe celebrates his three year anniversary at the club having led the club to Champions League qualification in 2022-23.
