Newcastle must hijack move for 21-goal attacker after reported £7m bid
Newcastle United could do with some attacking reinforcements badly over the summer transfer window and that is why they should turn their attention to Bristol City’s Bobby Reid.
Sky Sports reports that West Brom have stepped up their plans following a relegation to the Championship by launching a £7million bid to sign Reid from their new league rivals.
It is understood the Baggies are now in preparations after their relegation from the Premier League and have made contact for the 25-year-old.
Reid was in scintillating ing form in the 2017/18 campaign for Championship side Bristol City by scoring 21 goals and supplying eight assists in 52 appearances across all competitions.
The Englishman can play in the number 10 role or as a centre-forward, positions that Newcastle desperately need to strengthen in to ensure they are away from relegation trouble next season.

Manager Rafael Benitez should consider hijacking West Brom’s move for Reid and offer him the chance to make the switch to St James’ Park instead.
The dazzling attacker has been in such brilliant form in the last 12 months and the Magpies should give him to perform in the top flight.
Reid would be able to compete with the likes of Dwight Gayle and Ayoze Perez for a starting XI spot next year, which is why they need to trump West Brom’s bid with an offer of their own to try tempt the player away from Ashton Gate.
In the latest Newcastle United transfer news, they are in talks to offload their powerhouse defender.
