Newcastle United: Nick Woltemade responds as Tino Livramento sends message to fans amid future doubts
Newcastle United defender Tino Livramento has taken to social media to send a message to their fans following the end of the 2025-26 season.
Livramento’s season was blighted by recurring injury issues that restricted him to just 14 starts in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old right-back still impressed when he was available for Eddie Howe’s side and earned an inclusion in England’s World Cup squad for the summer.
Newcastle have been trying to tie him down to a new contract for several months now, but a summer exit has seemed increasingly likely as he stalls over signing fresh terms.
It remains to be seen if Newcastle will be forced to sell the Three Lions starlet in the coming weeks, but he has now taken to social media to send a message to their fans.

Sources have exclusively revealed to Football Insider that Man City would love to sign Livramento this summer.
It remains to be seen if they continue to track his progress without Pep Guardiola in charge, but Arsenal are still interested in the 23-year-old ahead of the next transfer window.

He failed to appear in any of the Magpies’ last five league games of the campaign due to a thigh injury, but has now taken to Instagram to address their fans for the first time since mid-March.
Livramento posted several pictures of himself throughout the season and said: “Ups and downs all season but the support never changed. I appreciate every single one of you.”
Newcastle teammate Woltemade replied with two red heart emojis, while Kieran Trippier, Lewis Miley, Yoane Wissa and Sven Botman each liked the post.
What has Howe said about Livramento’s Newcastle future?
Kieran Trippier’s departure means Howe will be even more keen to keep hold of Livramento so that he is not forced to buy two right-backs this summer.
The Magpies boss was asked about the future of Livramento and fellow full-back Lewis Hall earlier in May, as he hinted at a longer stay for both starlets.
Howe said: “The reason we signed both players when we did was for an evolution for the team and to see if they would grow into the full-back areas for us.
“They are two really talented lads who can grow and hopefully be top full-backs for Newcastle for many years, and that is still the case.”
