Nicolas Raskin could cause Rangers transfer headache based on his stats vs St Mirren
Nicolas Raskin was a standout for Rangers on Sunday as they narrowly emerged victorious away at St Mirren.
Danny Rohl’s team rode out 1-0 victors at St Mirren Park courtesy of Tuur Rommens’ first-half goal.
It was Raskin who impressed in the midfield, however, with the 25-year-old once again proving his worth amid conversations surrounding his future.
The Belgian is under contract until 2028, but has been heavily linked with a move away from Ibrox in the coming months.
Rangers transfer chiefs are unlikely to allow Raskin to leave the club in the summer, but a sizable offer from the Premier League could force their hands.

Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider last month that Raskin could leave Rangers if European football is not secured.
But the issues go beyond, with the midfielder having endured a tumultuous time at the club under the management of Russell Martin.
The 25-year-old was briefly dropped from the squad by the former Southampton manager, with the pair’s relationship clearly strained.

Martin was sacked in October, and Rangers have looked a far better team under Danny Rohl, but there is a feeling that those scars may remain.
And if his performance on Sunday is anything to go by, Raskin could certainly attract a club big enough to lure him away from Ibrox.
The Belgium international assisted Rommens’ goal with a brilliantly lofted ball to the back post, and he created three other chances for his teammates as well.
Much of his best work came defensively, however, with Raskin registering a staggering nine recoveries throughout the contest and three tackles.
Where could Raskin be set to leave for?
Raskin has reportedly attracted interest from the likes of Tottenham and Leeds United, with a mounting possibility that a bid could materialise in the summer.
But there are several other clubs who may well move for the Belgium international, including the likes of Brighton.

Through Tony Bloom’s role in the ownership of Hearts, the Seagulls have eyes in the Scottish Premiership. Eyes that have surely seen Raskin.
The 25-year-old fits the right profile for Brighton, and it would not be a surprise to see a bid made in the summer.
