Premier League side Crystal Palace have not “yet” made bid for Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, according to a reliable journalist.
Sky Sports reporter Kavek Solkehol was quoted by colleague Bryan Swanson on his personal Twitter account as detailing an update about Dembele’s situation at Parkhead which would no doubt please the Hoops fans, however the wording of the update may mean that Palace could make a move at some point this month.

Dembele has been linked with a host of teams in the Premier League but as yet Celtic have received no bids for their star striker.
The 21-year-old had a sensational first season in Scotland, scoring 32 goals as the Bhoys won the domestic treble.
This season he hasn’t been as prolific due to squad rotations and injury but has contributed nine goals
Football Insider verdict
Another day, another Moussa Dembele transfer story, And this story is a bit on a non-event, only telling us that Palace haven’t “yet” bid for the Frenchman. Celtic will be hoping that if they did bid on the player it will match Celtic’s valuation – £20million – and get the deal done quickly so that the Bhoys can quickly find a replacement striker. As the days tick past and the end of the transfer window craws ever closer, it seems likely that Dembele may end up staying in Glasgow until the end of the season, before the player inevitably leaves in the summer.
