Owner Tony Xia insisted that “confidence” is the magic word for Aston Villa after their emphatic win over Burton Albion on Tuesday night.
The club managed to secure their first back-to-back away victories in three years after they defeated their fellow Championship side 4-0.
Villa went into half-time comfortably 3-0 up with goals from Keinan Davis, Albert Adomah and Robert Snodgrass.
Tottenham Hotspur loanee Josh Onomah topped off their away win at the Pirelli Stadium with a fourth and final goal in the second-half which ensured another three points for Steve Bruce’s side.
Owner Tony Xia reassured fans on his personal Twitter account as he explained that the squad and supporters no longer had to dread away matches now they know what Villa are capable of.
Xia emphasised this in an address on his social media account: “Confidence, confidence, condfidence. No more fears for away games. We’re in the right direction. Onto the next one, cheers! All lads!”

Steve Bruce and his unchanged XI will most likely feature in the club’s next Championship showdown on Saturday as the side will host Bolton at Villa Park.
The three points from Tuesday has taken Aston Villa up to 16 points in the standings and helped them climb to eighth position in the league table meaning they’re just two points off the play-offs in the rankings.
Their next away match approaches in just a few weeks on October 14 as the Claret and Blues prepare to face Wolves in their twelfth match of the campaign.
