Noni Madueke sends Carney Chukwuemeka message after latest away from Chelsea
Noni Madueke has reacted to the latest update on Carney Chukwuemeka amid his loan spell away from Chelsea.
After coming through the youth ranks at Aston Villa, the attacking midfielder left the Midlands club back in the summer of 2022 to complete a move to Stamford Bridge.
However, the 21-year-old struggled to establish himself as a first-team regular, and when he did get on the pitch Chukwuemeka was at times criticised for his Chelsea performances, despite disappointment among fans that he wasn’t afforded more opportunities.
That then prompted a move away from the Blues in this season’s January transfer window for the young attacker.
Chukwuemeka left Chelsea to join Borussia Dortmund on loan until the end of the season, and he is now making an impact in Germany.

Having made his move to the Bundesliga, the attacker has endured a tough start to life there, struggling for game time amid some injury issues.
On Saturday (5 April) though, the Chelsea loanee was handed his first start for Dortmund against Freiburg, and he certainly took that opportunity.

Chukwuemeka produced an excellent performance and got his first goal for his loan side with a strike from the edge of the area that had put Niko Kovac’s side 2-0 up shortly after half time.
Dortmund eventually went on to win the game 4-1, and after the German side took to Instagram to praise the performance of Chelsea loanee, Madueke was keen to follow suit.
Sharing that post to his own Instagram story, the Blues winger tagged Chukwuemeka, and added the caption: “Dassss my boy!!”

Chelsea have big transfer decision to make in the summer
Football Insider Verdict
It is understood that while Dortumund do not have an option to buy as part of this loan deal, Chelsea have a release clause in Chukwuemeka’s contract that could be activated for a permanent sale this summer.
The Blues do of course have a rather bloated squad, which will be enhanced when the likes of the attacking midfielder return from their loan spells elsewhere.
Enzo Maresca may well want to streamline his options, and so certain individuals will likely be moved on before the start of next season.
Given he has been loaned out this season and has that clause in his contract, Chukwuemeka would be among the obvious candidates to be released by Chelsea.
They will therefore be paying close attention to performances such as this from the 21-year-old as they look to weigh up whether he could make the impact they need from him if they choose not to let him go.
