‘Not very good’ – Liverpool fans react on Twitter to reported 23-year-old signing

By Matt Bullin

Liverpool fans on Twitter are torn on whether Andrew Robertson is a good signing or not.

Their reactions come after the Mirror reported that the Reds have completed the signing of the 23-year-old and will announce it when the summer window begins on July 1.

No price has been quoted yet, but with Robertson’s contract entering its final year this summer, a hefty fee is not expected.

With Robertson’s imminent arrival Jurgen Klopp looks to have solved his left-back problem which has seen James Milner play there all season.

The Hull City defender has enjoyed a decent season and has made 37 appearances in all competitions.

He has been at Hull for three years and has more than 100 league and cup appearances for the club.

The Anfield faithful seem undecided if Robertson is a good buy or not, with sections of the fans claiming that he “has potential” while others have claimed he is “not very good defensively”.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

The Reds drew 0-0 with Southampton in their last Premier League encounter which has allowed their rivals to gain on them in the race for the top four.

However, Liverpool currently sit third in the table knowing if they win their final two games against West Ham and Middlesbrough they will secure a spot in Champions League next season.

In other Liverpool news, Klopp has heaped praise on this forgotten star ahead of the clash versus West Ham.
