Nottingham Forest fans explode after ‘shock’ points deduction news
Nottingham Forest fans have been left raging at the Premier League once again as Everton are under threat of another points deduction.
Reports claimed the Toffees have been found to be £6.5million in breach of the Premier League’s profit and sustainability rules for the 2022-23 season.
As a result, they could face another points deduction going into the new season, similar to what they and Forest experienced throughout last year.
This news comes just days after Football Insider reported outrage from fans after Stefan Borson claimed Man United had been handed an extra £40million PSR allowance.
Now, fans are venting their anger at the Premier League once more as it becomes more apparent that certain clubs are afforded luxuries others miss out on.
Nottingham Forest fans rage at Premier League after Everton points deduction twist
Forest received a four-point deduction last season for one breach of PSR, while Everton were docked a total of ten points for two separate incidents.
Conversations surrounding PSR have also been ongoing throughout the summer transfer window with many Premier League clubs restricted in their activity by the rules.
However, after the latest news about Everton’s potential breach, fans have hit out at the Premier League once again, labelling them “corrupt” and “a joke”.
In other news, Newcastle are still plotting a move to sign Anthony Elanga.
