Nottingham Forest fans: Ibrahim Sangare dealt ‘huge’ blow after source’s reveal

Nottingham Forest fans have been left gutted by the latest update on the injury blow to star midfielder Ibrahim Sangare.

Football Insider revealed on 15 September that the 26-year-old will be ruled out until December after undergoing surgery on a torn hamstring.

Sangare missed the 1-0 win against Liverpool at Anfield due to his injury, having previously started all three of their Premier League games this season.

The midfielder had seen a return to form following a frustrating first season at the City Ground last time out, and is regarded by Nuno Espirito Santo as a key player in his side.

However, as he is now expected to miss the next three months of football, the boss has been dealt a “huge” blow by the injury.

Fans have also commented on how the blow has come just as he was starting to show some form, leading to further frustration about his absence.

This is the second serious injury suffered by a Forest midfielder this season after Danilo suffered a broken leg on the opening day, leaving fans devastated.

Winning all three points at Anfield, however, will have provided some hope that James Ward-Prowse and Ryan Yates can provide a stable midfield pairing.

Now, Forest fans have taken to social media to express their sympathies and frustrations towards Sangare’s injury blow.

In other news, Stefan Borson has dropped a new Man City points deduction verdict.
