Nottingham Forest supporters took to Twitter to celebrate new striker Nicklas Bendtner taking up a position on the bench for the first time in Wednesday evening’s clash v Rotherham.
The 28-year-old striker moved to the City Ground after his contract was terminated by Bundesliga side Wolfsburg and he could be set to make his first appearance for the club.
Forest have also brought in defenders Matthew Mills and Armand Traore as well as Nicolao Dumitru and Jorge Grant following their 2-2 draw on Sunday.
Fans of the Reds took to social media to express their excitement to their new striker’s position on the bench, while many predicted what he would do against the Yorkshire side.

Forest have started the new campaign in steady form under manager Philippe Montanier.
They have won three league games from their opening six matches, while also picking up one draw and two losses.
They are currently in 13th place and they will look to Rotherham, who are struggling in the relegation zone as a good opportunity to pick up some more points.
In other Nottingham Forest team news, Matthew Cash delivered a message on Twitter expressing his disappointment after it was confirmed that he had fractured a bone in his knee.
