Nottingham Forest face Reading in Tuesday night’s clash between two of the Championship’s lower ranked sides.
Reading have an opportunity to leapfrog their opponents with a victory whilst the Reds can put daylight between them and their opposition in the league table with a win.
Forest manager Aitor Karanka announced a much-changed line-up for his starting XI, who were missing a number of key players due to illness.
Meanwhile, Michael Mancienne, Daryl Murphy, and Apostolos Vellios were all ruled out of the match for sickness and Joe Worrall was missing due to a knee problem.
Ben Osborn was announced at left-back for the clash and there was also a place for Kieran Dowell in the side.
There was also no place for January transfer signing Ashkan Dejagah, who is set to be out of action for the next couple of months after sustaining a knee injury in training which required an operation.
However, it was the absence of Matt Cash that had supporters up in arms and querying why he had not been given a place in the side.
Defeat for Forest could potentially spell a fight with relegation depending on how results elsewhere go.
