Nottingham Forest fans say the same about Callum Hudson-Odoi after announcement

Nottingham Forest fans believe winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is in with a chance of earning an England call-up after Thomas Tuchel’s appointment.

The 51-year-old former Chelsea and Bayern Munich boss was officially named England manager on Wednesday (October 16), taking over from interim manager Lee Carsley.

This marks the German’s first job since leaving Bayern at the end of last season, with the Bavarian club failing to lift the Bundesliga for the first time in a decade.

Tuchel has a vast array of attacking talent to choose from and has previous experience coaching the likes of Hudson-Odoi, 23, during his time in West London.

The Forest winger hasn’t made an appearance for his country since 2019 when he became the second youngest player in England history to make his full debut, behind Wayne Rooney.

Hudson-Odoi has been a stand-out performer for Forest so far this season, notably scoring the winner in their impressive 1-0 win over Liverpool on matchday four.

Nottingham Forest fans now believe that the appointment of Tuchel will give the youngster that extra motivation to take his game to the next level.
