Nottingham Forest fans thrilled by ‘best we’ve ever had’ after key development
Nottingham Forest will kickstart their Premier League season against Bournemouth at the City Ground and fans are buzzing at their fixture list.
The game against Bournemouth will be the club’s first opening-day fixture at home since 2019.
Following that clash, Forest face Southampton away and Wolves at home in September with high hopes of securing some early victories.
The first clash against big six opposition comes with a visit to Liverpool in September, although there is a renewed confidence that they will have points on the board before then.
Home fixtures on Boxing Day against Tottenham and the final game of the season against Chelsea have also provided more optimism as we approach the 2024/25 Premier League season.

Forest struggled towards the bottom of the table last time out, finishing outside of the relegation zone by just six points, and will be keen on a more comfortable finish this time around.
Fans insisted their opening fixtures will be “easy”, with one supporter suggesting they “must be dreaming”, while another described the list as “the best we’ve ever had”.
Others warned Forest not to “bottle it”, leaning towards a more pessimistic view.
