Nottingham Forest fans wowed by ‘huge news’ after triple-your-money deal agreed

Nottingham Forest fans believe the club could achieve European football this season after former Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar agreed to join.

Football Insider revealed that Edu has quit the Gunners after agreeing to a “triple-your-money deal” with the group run by Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis.

Edu is set to become the head of football operations for Marinakis and will oversee his three clubs – Forest, Olympiacos, and Rio Ave.

The Brazilian transfer guru has played a key role in helping to make the Gunners title contenders by securing top signings such as Declan Rice and William Saliba.

Edu joins Forest with the club currently above Arsenal in the Premier League table after the opening 10 games of the season.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are third place and have only lost once to this point, while boasting the second-best defensive record in the league.

Nottingham Forest fans expect the club to continue progressing off the pitch

After an impressive start to the season on the pitch, supporters are now pleased with Forest’s latest move off the pitch as well.

Fans have claimed that “something very special” is taking place, while others believe the club is “back.”
