Nottingham Forest plan to complete Alex Moreno signing – fans react
Nottingham Forest fans have urged the club to complete the signing of Aston Villa’s Alex Moreno before the transfer window closes.
Villarreal, Sevilla, and Valencia have also registered their interest in the 31-year-old, providing Nottingham Forest with some competition.
Moreno is surplus to requirements at Villa Park after the signing of Ian Maatsen from Chelsea earlier in the summer.
The Spaniard was not part of the match-day squad for Villa’s opening Premier League match at the London Stadium, which saw them beat West Ham 2-1.
Unai Emery’s decision not to use Moreno in any capacity only increased the demand from Forest fans to go ahead and make a deal for him.

Only four teams conceded more goals than Nottingham last season, and with three of them being relegated it is an obvious area for improvement.
Nuno Espirito Santo is looking to bolster his defensive options before the window shuts, and fans are eager for Moreno to join.
