Nottingham Forest ready to open Gibbs-White talks – sources
Nottingham Forest are ready to offer Morgan Gibbs-White a new contract amid growing interest from Premier League rivals.
Tottenham and Newcastle have longstanding interest in the 24-year-old playmaker, who is now being linked with Man City as well.
Forest sources have told Football Insider that the club will do their best to ward off any interest by offering the Gibbs a bumper new deal and talks could get underway soon.
Gibbs-White has had a fine start to the new campaign and was rewarded with his England debut against the Republic of Ireland last week.
The attacking midfielder replaced goalscorer Jack Grealish for the last 13 minutes of Lee Carsley’s first game as England’s interim manager.

Gibbs-White has 12 goals and 18 assists in 84 appearances for Forest since joining from Wolves for £35million in the summer of 2022.
He has started all four of Forest’s opening Premier League games, scoring the winner in their 1-0 victory over newly promoted Southampton.

Nuno Espirito Santo’s side are one of five Premier League sides who remain unbeaten so far this season, earning an impressive away win at Liverpool on Saturday thanks to Callum Hudson-Odoi’s 72nd-minute goal.
They next face a tough away trip to Brighton as they seek to continue their impressive start to the Premier League season.
