Nottingham Forest set astronomical Elliot Anderson asking price amid Man United interest
Elliot Anderson has seen his stock and value skyrocket since joining Nottingham Forest from Newcastle United in 2024.
Anderson was called up to the England squad for the first time during the September international break and was selected by Thomas Tuchel once more in October.
During England’s convincing win against Latvia in World Cup qualifying, Anderson was outstanding as he completed a whopping 121 passes and recorded 11 ball recoveries.
The 22-year-old has continued to show his class at club level, even during Nottingham Forest’s struggles in the Premier League, and he could soon join a top club.
Manchester City are reportedly plotting a £75million move for Anderson before the 2026 World Cup, while at least two other clubs are battling for his signature.

Nottingham Forest want £100-£120m for Elliot Anderson
Sources have told Football Insider that Manchester United have a serious interest in Anderson, seeing him as the ideal candidate to address a problem area of their squad.
Newcastle also want a return for Anderson, although it is understood they could be priced out of a move for the Englishman.

According to journalist Florian Plettenberg, Forest want a fee of around £100m-£120m for the midfielder ahead of the summer transfer window.
Plettenberg also revealed that there’s no release clause in his current contract, and that means the Tricky Trees demand what they want.
The above fee – although astronomical – reflects Anderson’s importance to Nottingham Forest and his incredible potential.

Declan Rice tips Anderson for ‘higher level’
Anderson has the talent to play for a Champions League club by combining his press resistance, passing range and explosive power.
Also, with Forest currently in a relegation battle under Sean Dyche, there’s a chance they could suffer a shock relegation to the Championship.
As a result, Arsenal midfielder Declan Rice has already tipped the England international to reach a ‘higher level’ after playing alongside him.
“I think he probably can play at a higher level. He’s taken it in his stride and is playing exactly how he does for his club,” Rice said of Anderson in an interview with ITV. “When you have a lad who’s that confident, who comes in and feels like they don’t have to do anything different, just go on the pitch, it’s like autopilot the way he plays.
“We’ve built up a really, really strong relationship in midfield. We’ve had close relationships there, we’re playing closer together, and he’s letting me go forward a little bit more, so we’re building a nice little partnership.”
