Nottingham Forest star Ola Aina sends ‘trouble’ warning after Mohamed Salah news
Nottingham Forest defender Ola Aina sent a warning to the rest of the Premier League on social media after Mohamed Salah’s new Liverpool contract.
The 28-year-old fullback has been an integral part of the Tricky Trees side that looks set to qualify for Champions League football for the first time since the 1980s.
Prior to Liverpool’s loss to Fulham on Sunday (6 April), the only team the Reds had lost to all season was Aina’s Forest.
Whilst the Merseyside club are cruising their way to a second Premier League title this century, the club have been dogged by the contract status’ of Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Salah.
However, after news that the Egyptian had signed a new two-year deal to remain at Anfield, after heavy speculation a move away was on the cards, Aina gave his instant reaction whilst in the Forest dressing room.

Ola Aina warns ‘the league is finished’
Whilst enjoying some music with his Forest teammates, Aina was forced to take a pause as news of Salah’s contract broke.
The Nigerian fullback posted a video to his Snapchat story, saying: “Mohamed has signed again? The league is finished.
The former Chelsea man then said in disbelief: “Everyone’s in trouble”.

Nottingham Forest fans will want update on Ola Aina contract status
Football Insider Verdict
As monumental as Salah’s new Liverpool contract is for the Premier League, and all who will be forced to endure having to watch the Egyptian tear apart their team’s hopes and dreams, another contract drama is unfolding.
Having joined the club in 2023 on a free transfer from Torino, Aina penned a 12-month deal at the City Ground, before Forest activated the optional extension for another 12-months last summer.
The Nigerian fullback is now out of contract in the summer, and there has been little news of any progression in talks between player and club.

Aina was a target for Man City in January, and although he seems to be loving life in Nottingham, playing the best football of his career, the former Fulham man will not be short of suitors this summer.
In January, Mick Brown told Football Insider exclusively Forest were confident of keeping Aina, but there has been little by way of an update since then, and fans will be hoping to see the 28-year-old agree a deal to remain with the club.
