Nottingham Forest told to seal £35m+ deal for Morgan Gibbs-White and 23-year-old – Campbell
Kevin Campbell has urged Nottingham Forest to sign Marcus Tavernier as well as Morgan Gibbs-White this summer.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Forest and Arsenal striker said both attacking midfielders would be “great additions” to Steve Cooper’s side.
According to The Athletic (16 July), Nottingham Forest and Everton are leading the race to sign Gibbs-White, 22, from Wolves.

Sources have told Football Insider (9 June) that Bruno Lage’s side will demand £25million for the centre-midfielder following an impressive loan spell at Sheffield United.
The Daily Mail reported (16 July) that Forest have made a £10million bid for Marcus Tavernier, another player who starred in the Championship last season.
Tavernier, 23, has two years left on his contract at Middlesbrough.
When asked by Football Insider if the newly-promoted side should splash the cash on both the attackers, Campbell said: “I think Tavernier should be signed as well as Gibbs-White.
“Tavernier can operate in a couple of positions. He is lively and a good player.
“Forest need the greater squad depth and they need to be able to chop and change. They are in the top flight, the elite.

“It is not about spending crazy money but they need good young players with quality. Players who are hungry to make a name for themselves.
“Those two names will be hungry to prove themselves in the Premier League. I think they would be great additions.”
In other news, an expert has claimed this may be real reason Brice Samba quit Nottingham Forest this summer.
