Odds slashed: West Ham big favourites to sign pass master after massive bid reportedly tabled

West Ham are the clear favourites to sign Fulham’s Tom Cairney, according to the latest bookmaker’s odds.
SkyBet have now got the Fulham sensation at just 7/2 to join West Ham in the January window, after reports of a huge bid being tabled.
Sky claimed on their transfer blog on Friday (7.23am) that sources had told them that West Ham will sign another midfielder before the window slams shut.
The strongest name that has been linked is that of Cairney, with Sky sources claiming a massive £15million bid had been tabled, although it was said to have been rejected.
Just over a week ago West Ham weren’t even in the market, with West Brom clear favourites at 6/4 and newcastle behind them at 5/1.
West Ham are now just 7/2 to sign the pass-master now, with West Brom the nearest rvials at a huge 10/1.

Cairney has struggled to hit the heights he reached last season because of injuries, but he put himself on the radar with some fantastic playmaking skills in the Championship last campaign.
The 27-year-old midfielder scored 12 goals and added 11 assists in just 45 appearances, and he helped boost Fulham towards the play-offs where they failed to win promotion back to the Premier League.
£15million is a huge bid for a Championship player but it looks like Fulham are holding out for even more.
