Ola Aina reacts to Jeremy Doku warning for Nottingham Forest v Man City: ‘Go away’
Ola Aina has reacted after he was sent an early warning about Jeremy Doku before Nottingham Forest face Man City in the Premier League on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola’s winger has already destroyed Liverpool’s Trent Alexander-Arnold this season, with the Belgian now up against one of the most in-form full-backs in the league on 8 March.
Aina has started all 27 of the Reds’ Premier League matches, also boasting a goal and two assists as Nuno Espirito Santo’s men continue to climb up the league table.
With Arsenal taking on Man United this weekend, Forest have the potential to move within three points of second place, which would be a massive achievement at The City Ground.
However, one player already stands in the way.
Ola Aina already getting nightmares ahead of Jeremy Doku battle
Receiving a message via Snapchat saying: “Get ready for Doku on the weekend,” Aina replied: “People are trying to give me early nightmares bruv. Go away, man.”
The full-back was substituted after 63 minutes during the reverse fixture in December, with Doku scoring just before the hour-mark, having already assisted Kevin De Bruyne’s goal.
While Aina managed to win 75 per cent of his tackles [FotMob], he clearly still has some painful feelings about coming up against the tricky winger for a second time this season.

Nuno Espirito Santo to prove himself in tough Premier League clash
Football Insider verdict
Forest have already achieved so much under Espirito Santo this season, losing just two league games at home throughout the campaign, which will give them a huge boost ahead of facing Man City.
Matz Sels was the Forest hero in the FA Cup win over Ipswich Town, saving a crucial spot-kick in a penalty shootout, and the shot-stopper will need to be at his very best if they are to beat City.
Nottingham Forest’s next 5 fixtures | Competition |

Ipswich Town (A) | Premier League |
Brighton (A) | FA Cup |
Man United (H) | Premier League |
Aston Villa (A) | Premier League |
The Citizens have experienced several scares this campaign, and with Pep Guardiola possibly leaving Man City this summer, the Reds may be able to play on some of the uncertainty in Manchester.
Remaining fixtures are extremely tough for Forest if they are to finish in the top-four spots, but having secured a spot in the FA Cup quarter-finals, attempting to get their hands on silverware might be more important at The City Ground.
