Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has hinted that he could be leaving the Ibrox giants for Besiktas after retweeting a story discussing the move – and Gers fans are happy to see the Colombian leave if he doesn’t want to be at the Light Blues.

Morelos shared the story from Colombian website El Meridiano on his personal Twitter account, causing a strong reaction from Gers fans.

The Colombian ended the season as the Gers’ joint-top goalscorer with Josh Windass after hitting the net 18 times – but struggled towards the end of the season as he only managed to bag one goal in ten appearances.

Gers fans are not impressed with Morelos’ perceived lack of commitment – with one fan saying the Colombian is a “bad apple.”

Morelos joined Rangers last summer from Finnish champions HJK Helsinki and quickly made a name for himself at Ibrox after hitting the net regularly, attracting a number of bids from China in January.

After only managing to secure a third-place finish in the Scottish Premiership last season, there is expected to be a massive overhaul of the playing squad at Ibrox this summer when Steven Gerrard takes the reins.

A move for Morelos could give the Liverpool icon a substantial amount of money to reinvest in his squad ahead of his first season at the helm.
