Paddy Kenny predicts Caprile could quit Leeds after £2m bid accepted
Elia Caprile will be tempted to quit Leeds United this summer if Kristoffer Klaesson finalises his Elland Road switch.
So says ex-Whites shot-stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the 19-year-old’s future in West Yorkshire.
This site revealed earlier today (29th July) that Leeds have had a bid worth £2million including add-ons accepted by Valaranega for Klaesson.
The Norwegian, 20, is set to undergo a medical tomorrow after completing the quarantine period and before finalising the switch.
Caprile is yet to make his Leeds debut and will likely be third in the pecking order behind Illan Meslier, 20, and now Kalesson in 2021-22.
And Kenny claims that the Italian may not be content to remain at Elland Road and vie for position with two shot-stoppers of a similar age.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “He might want to go somewhere and play first-team football.
“Could he be sent out on loan? Will Leeds allow that? I do find it strange that they have got three players in the same position all the same age.
“It’s a really weird situation because it’s goalkeepers. They are babies at that age when it comes to goalkeepers.
“It’s always good to have an experienced pro around, I’ve always welcomed it.
“To have no experience in there to help them out through difficult times and put an arm around your shoulder is very strange.
“But it will be really competitive between the three of them, 100 per cent.”
Caprile is under contract at Leeds until 2023 after signing from Chievo in January last year.
Leeds recently confirmed that fellow goalkeeper Kiko Casilla had left the club on loan for Elche.
