Pogba makes sensational claim about Tottenham first-team star
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba believes Tottenham playmaker Dele Alli is worth more than £100million.
Pogba became the world’s most expensive footballer when he returned to Manchester United from Juventus in 2016 for £89million.
The world record fee was surpassed in August this year when Brazilian superstar Neymar moved from Barcelona to Paris St Germain for £200m.
Alli joined Tottenham from League One side MK Dons for £5million in 2015 and has gone on to establish himself as one of the biggest stars in world football.
The midfielder’s value has risen dramatically since then, to a level where talk persists of a £100m valuation and interest from European giants Real Madrid.
However, France international Pogba believes the Spurs youngster is worth even more than that and heaped praise on the 21-year-old for the maturity he shows both on and off the pitch.

“I think he is worth even more than £100m because you see how he plays — he is very talented but still very young,” said Pogba, in an exclusive interview with the Evening Standard.
“But he is mature as well — you can see that in his football. He can deal with the talk. You can see he doesn’t care.
“He should, and will, focus on his football, and the rest, they will always speak. Always focus on the field.”
Alli will be hoping that Tottenham can return to winning ways when they face Watford at Vicarage Road in Premier League action on Saturday afternoon.
Spurs go into the game 16 points behind unbeaten Premier League leaders Manchester City and will be looking to bounce back from the disappointing 2-1 defeat at Leicester on Tuesday evening.
