Pedro Porro and Dom Solanke react to Destiny Udogie’s update away from Tottenham
Tottenham players Pedro Porro and Dominic Solanke were spotted reacting to Destiny Udogie’s latest update as he shared a message with fans ahead of the new season.
Spurs enjoyed a season to remember last year, finally ending their 17-year wait for silverware. Despite the success, Tottenham made the decision to part ways with Ange Postecoglou and appoint Thomas Frank as his replacement.
One player whose future was uncertain under the Australian was Udogie, who had been heavily linked with a move to Manchester City earlier in the year.
However, Tottenham stood firm in their stance to keep the left-back, forcing City to turn their attention elsewhere. They ultimately secured the signing of Wolves’ Rayan Ait Nouri instead.
Frank’s arrival could mark a fresh start for Udogie, who now appears firmly part of the club’s plans going forward. His recent post seemed to signal optimism ahead of the new campaign with teammates engaging.

Tottenham players react to Destiny Udogie post amid summer celebrations
The left-back shared a series of off-season holiday snaps on social media, offering fans a glimpse into his summer break.
Among the photos, one image stood out, which was a shot of an LED message board that read “European champions”.
The post quickly gained attention from fellow players, with Solanke, Chelsea winger Noni Madueke, and Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah among those responding.
Pedro Porro, who has also been linked with a move to Manchester City, added a like to the post.
Back in April, Football Insider reported that Udogie could be tempted by a move to Man City if Tottenham failed to secure European football.
However, after Spurs lifted the Europa League trophy and confirmed their place in next season’s Champions League, and with City opting to sign Rayan Ait-Nouri instead, that move now appears off the table.
Tottenham eye Bryan Mbeumo in bid to hijack Man United deal

With Frank now officially in place as Tottenham’s new manager, the Dane appears to be wasting no time in influencing the club’s transfer strategy.
Former Everton CEO Keith Wyness told Football Insider that Spurs could hold a key advantage in the race for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, thanks to Frank’s existing relationship with the player.
Man United were previously believed to be leading the chase for Mbeumo, having shown long-standing interest and fending off competition from Newcastle United.
However, no decision has yet been finalised, and there is growing belief that Tottenham could hijack the move. Not only can they offer a reunion with Frank, but also Champions League football next season, something that could prove decisive in negotiations.
