Phillips wowed by 'amazing' potential West Ham attack after ExWHUemployee's Pereira update
Kevin Phillips claims a West Ham attack featuring Matheus Pereira and Said Benrahma would be a sight to behold.
The Sunderland legend, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, reacted to the latest on the Hammers’ hunt for the Brazilian.
This includes a loan with the option or obligation to buy the 24-year-old next summer.
It was also stated West Brom still owe West Ham money from last summer’s Grady Diangana sale.
The Irons look to be assessing alternative options to Jesse Lingard after a club source told this site on 12th July that they fear being gazumped by Spurs in their hunt for the player.

Phillips claims Pereira would fit in at West Ham but admitted he would be surprised if he moved to the London Stadium.
“It would surprise me if he went to West Ham,” Phillips told Football Insider correspondent Dylan Childs.
“They have plenty of those kinds of players, like Benrahma.
“If he did go there, he’d fit in no problem. Especially with the style of Football David Moyes is playing.
“Benrahma on one side and Pereira on the other could be an amazing sight to behold going into next season.”
Pereira scored 11 goals and chipped in with six assists as West Brom were relegated from the Premier League.
Benrahma scored in the Hammers’ 6-2 pre-season friendly win against Celtic on Saturday afternoon.
