Piers Morgan took to Twitter to gloat about Tottenham losing to Leicester City on Tuesday – he only tweeted five words but they angered a lot of fans.
The famous Arsenal fan sarcastically tweeted, “Too soon to discuss relegation?” and directly tagged Tottenham’s twitter account in the message.
Too soon to discuss relegation @SpursOfficial?

Spurs suffered a 2-1 loss to Leicester City with both Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez scoring for Leicester in the first-half of the game.
The result meant that Tottenham have failed to win any of their last three league games, drawing to West Brom and losing to Arsenal.
Spurs fans didn’t appreciate the tounge-in-cheek comment and replied in their numbers.

Aside from angering some Spurs fans, Morgan did have some fellow Arsenal fans hailing his tweet.
He also managed to cause several arguments, as fans from a range of football clubs discussed whether a Gunners fan should be so quick to judge other teams’ failings.
About 25 years too soon to talk about Arsenal winning the title. You are just no challenge. Intellectual pygmy.

Whether Morgan will be gloating at the end of the season is another story, although Arsenal are one point ahead in the league with a game in hand.
In other Tottenham news, fans jumped to social media to criticise one player in particular following the Leicester City game.
