Tottenham dropped points in the league for the third game in a row, and fans were fuming over Moussa Sissoko’s part in the defeat to Leicester City.

Spurs lost 2-1 to Leicester City thanks to a first-half goals from Jamie Vardy and Riyad Mahrez, with Harry Kane grabbing a goal in the second-half to try and kickstart a failed comeback attempt.

One user tweeted that the French international was as useful as a handbrake on a canoe, with another simply labelling him useless.

Mauricio Pochettino opted to sub the 28-year-old in the 57th minute and put on Heung-Min Son much to the Spurs fans’ delight.

Here are some of the best reaction to the midfielder’s less than stellar performance:

Sissoko has featured heavily for Tottenham this season, playing 19 times across all competitions.

The 28-year-old has managed to score two goals in his outings, which already beats last season’s total of zero.

Aside from the disappointment of watching Sissoko’s performance, fans were not happy with the overall result and what it meant.

Tottenham now haven’t won any of their last three leagues, suffering two defeats and a draw in the process, which has left them significantly adrift of league leaders Manchester City.
