Pochettino names regular sub as one of four key Tottenham players this season

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino has heaped praise on Son Heung-Min ahead of his side’s final game of the season against Hull.
The manager has named Son as one of the team’s four key players this season even though he has regularly been on the substitute’s bench when all the players are available for selection.
The South Korean has been in fine form throughout Spurs’ campaign, playing on the wing or up top in Harry Kane’s absence.
He even bagged a brace as Pochettino’s side thumped Leicester 6-1 on Thursday night.
The 24-year-old has scored 21 goals in his 46 league and cup appearances this term, as well as providing nine assists.

Speaking to the London Evening Standard, Pochettino heaped praise on Son.
The Argentine said: “I think he deserves a lot of credit about his goals and the performance of the team.
“I think he was one of the key players in the season like Harry [Kane], like Dele [Alli], like in often situations like Christian Eriksen too.
“He was key for us during the season and in the moment when we didn’t have Harry he was our main striker and he scored a lot of goals and gave us a lot of points.”
Son joined Spurs from Bayern Leverkusen in August 2015 for £25million, but failed to make much of an impact in his first season, scoring eight goals in 42 appearances in all competitions.
But this season the 51-time South Korea international has helped Spurs to a second-place finish in the Premier League and to reach the semi-finals of the FA Cup.
Nevertheless, Son has started only 22 of Tottenham’s 37 Premier League fixtures and has been a substitute on 11 occasions.
Pochettino’s final league game of the season sees them travel to the KCOM Stadium to take on an already relegated Hull side.
Tottenham beat the Tigers 3-0 when the sides met earlier in the campaign and they will hope for another big win to sign off their season in style.
In other Tottenham news, Pochettino is set to ditch this 22-year-old after losing patience with him.
