Pontus Jansson: This is who deserves 10/10 ranking during Leeds draw at Fulham
By Amir Mir
Pontus Jansson has stated that no-one can deny that the Leeds players didn’t “give everything” during their 1-1 draw against Fulham on Tuesday night in the Championship.
Centre-back Jansson also expressed his “love” for the club and its supporters in a passionate message after the game.
He insisted that the club’s 7,000-strong band of away fans at Craven Cottage deserved a 10/10 ranking for their vocal support.
Jansson played in the centre of defence alongside his regular partner Kyle Bartley, but there was a change in the back four prior to the match.
Right-back Luke Ayling and his partner gave birth to a baby girl earlier on in the day, so he missed the fixture alongside the injured Chris Wood.

Despite this, the away team managed to secure a valuable point in their race for promotion to the delight of Jansson.
“Really proud of our performance today,” Jansson wrote on his personal Twitter account. ” No-one can say that we didn’t give everything for each other. Love this family and the fans, 10/10.”
Garry Monk’s side had taken the lead in the game at Craven Cottage when Tim Ream managed to put the ball into his own net after five minutes.
Thereafter, the London club dominated proceedings with 73 per cent of possession and 23 shots on goal to Leeds’ seven.
Despite this, Monk’s side went into stoppage time, down to ten men and leading the fixture before Tom Cairney curled in his effort with seconds remaining on the clock.
Now, the Whites will focus their attention on the weekend clash with QPR as Ian Holloway’s side will be looking to cause an upset at Elland Road.
The club will be hoping their star duo Ayling and Wood will be back for the encounter with Monk guiding his team closer to a top six finish.
