'Poor again', 'Next Botaka' - Leeds fans blast player after draw v Fulham

By Harvey Byrne

Ezgjan Alioski made his fourth appearance in a Leeds shirt against Fulham on Tuesday evening, but fans on Twitter were once more disappointed with what the attacker had to offer.

The Macedonian winger was selected to start on on the left side of a front three in Thomas Christiansen’s side alongside fellow new arrival Samu Saiz and the more experienced Pablo Hernandez.

However, the attackers failed to deliver for the second time in just four days at Elland Road with the clash ending in a 0-0 draw between Leeds and Fulham and many felt that Alioski was the worst offender.

A number of supporters on social media were keen to point out that it’s not the first time the 25-year-old has struggled to make an impact since his move, while another went as far as to compare him to former attacker Jordan Botaka, who was released earlier in the summer.

Here are a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Alioski completed 63 minutes of the Tuesday evening clash before being brought off for attacker Kemar Roofe.

Leeds’ next match will see them travel up to Sunderland on Saturday for the 5.30pm kick off and the Macedonian may find he is not included in the starting line-up at the Stadium of Light.
