Premier League sack race: Sean Dyche odds slashed dramatically amid Nottingham Forest development
Sean Dyche is already finding his position under scrutiny at Nottingham Forest.
The Reds are now just three points clear of the relegation zone in the Premier League, and pressure from the fanbase has continued to mount on their manager after they were comfortably beaten away at Leeds on Friday.
Forest fans are already convinced that Dyche must go if they are to avoid slipping back into the Championship at the end of the season, with their relegation fears heightened after West Ham’s win at Burnley on Saturday.
The East Midlands outfit have already been through two permanent managers already this season, but owner Evangelos Marinakis does not have a reputation for affording patience to his head coaches.

Sean Dyche among favourites for the sack amid Nottingham Forest talks
Marinakis has transformed Forest during his time at helm at the City Ground, but his reign has overseen several managerial casualties along the way.
Dyche could be about to become the latest to fall victim to the owner’s relentless ambition, as he and the board have opened discussions over potential replacements, according to journalist Vinny Grappa via his X account.
The defeat to Leeds appears to have set the cogs whirring behind the scenes at Forest, and the development surrounding Dyche’s future has now seen him enter the Premier League’s sack race.
The 54-year-old has now seen his odds of becoming the division’s next sacking slashed down to 11/2 by one major bookmaker, and as a result, only Thomas Frank and Scott Parker are seen as more likely candidates to be axed at the moment.

Forest have a home clash against bottom-club Wolves on the horizon in midweek, but with Dyche now among the favourites to lose his job next, it remains to be seen whether he will even last that long.
Evangelos Marinakis has already decided on Sean Dyche replacement
Marinakis is a huge admirer of Marco Silva, who has been linked with the top job at the City Ground on several occasions in recent seasons.
The Portuguese has Fulham flying high in the top half of the table once again this term, and the Cottagers have never truly been threatened by relegation since they were promoted back to the top flight in 2021-22.
Silva is out of contract in the summer, which could provide Marinakis with the perfect opportunity to strike and finally secure the services of a manager that he has pursued several times, given that the compensation that Fulham would require will be decreasing by the day.
The fact that Dyche was only handed an 18-month deal when he joined the club back in October suggests that he was never truly seen as the ideal long-term option, and the club hierarchy could now be about to put the next stage of their plan into action.
