Swansea striker Oli McBurnie has taken to social media to praise Rangers midfield man Ross McCrorie after he signed a new four-and-a-half year deal with Ibrox side.
Writing on his personal Twitter account, McBurnie, known to be a big Rangers fan, said that the contract was well-deserved.
“Congrats my mate, absolutely deserved!” he wrote to the 19-year-old.

McBurnie has featured three times for Swansea in the Premier League so far this season, and as yet hasn’t scored any goals for the team bottom of the Premier League.
McCrorie has enjoyed a meteoric rise at Ibrox since Pedro Caixinha gave him his first-team debut in the Betfred Cup against Partick Thistle in September.
The youngster was moved from centre-back role to defensive midfielder under the management of Graeme Murty, and the player has turned in some fine performances since then.
It will be interesting to see how he fares in his next game, the Gers’ trip to Celtic Park for the Old Firm derby.
McCrorie struggled at centre-back in the 2-0 loss to Celtic at Ibrox in September, but he was playing in old position then.
It could be a different story now that he is a midfielder and his battle with Celtic captain Scott Brown could be one to look out for.
