Pundit ‘100 per cent’ sure on Christian Pulisic’s future after ‘huge’ Newcastle United update

Alan Hutton has insisted Christian Pulisic will have an “easy decision” if Newcastle United want to sign him.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said Pulisic will have a “huge decision” to make.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, reported in CaughtOffside (31 October), the Magpies are looking at wingers for the January window.

In the summer (22 August), Romano also reported that the Northern club have been interested in a move for the 24-year-old for “months”.

The USA international has less than two years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.

When asked if the right winger would choose a move to St James’ Park, Hutton told Football Insider: “100 per cent.

It is pretty much an easy decision. He has come back into the Chelsea team in recent weeks but he has not really been playing a position where he feels most comfortable. But he is back within the playing squad.

If Newcastle did come in for him it is something that he would definitely sit up and want to think about. I think there is only one direction that they are going in at the moment and it is definitely something that you would want to be part of.

It will be a huge decision for him and I do not think he would take that one lightly.

Pulisic has made 14 appearances for the Blues across all competitions this season.

He has only started four of those matches and has scored one goal and provided two assists.
