Pundit eviscerates Todd Boehly after confirmed Chelsea dressing room reveal
Alan Hutton has slammed Chelsea owner Todd Boehly after his dressing room antics at the weekend (15 April).
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Tottenham and Aston Villa defender said Boehly “undermined” manager Frank Lampard with his actions.
As relayed by The Times (17 April), after the 2-1 defeat to Brighton on Saturday (15 April), Boehly went into the Stamford Bridge dressing room and criticised the players, describing their form as “embarrassing”.
The owner questioned whether the players are performing at a level that reflects their massive price tags.
The Blues lost their fourth successive game and dropped out of the Champions League after a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Tuesday (18 April).
But Hutton wasn’t impressed by Boehly’s reaction to the club’s poor run of form.

“I think there is a time and a place for it,” he told Football Insider.
“Possibly at the training ground if the owner was to come in and show his plans moving forward.
“It is not ideal, it undermines the manager a little bit, especially at a game. That is probably a conversation for the owner and the manager separately.
“I get that he has spent a lot of money but at this moment in time they kind of seem like a team of individuals.
“They have brought in some of these superstars for big money and tried to just fit them all together in a couple of weeks, that is not how it works.
“We are not playing Football Manager it does not work like that.
“There is a time and a place and I do not think after a defeat, at the game, is the right place to do it.”
