Pundit fears for Ryan Fraser at Newcastle United as ‘grim’ verdict issued – ‘it doesn’t look good’
Ryan Fraxer has “no future” at Newcastle United and could still leave before the transfer window closes.
That’s according to former Hibernian striker Tam McManus, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the winger’s future.
The Northern Echo reported on 5 December that Southampton were set to make a January move for Fraser, 28 – with Brentford also interested in his services.

On 2 December, Luke Edwards reported the Scotland international will be allowed to leave in January after barely featuring for the Magpies this season.
However, no offers have been forthcoming.
McManus claims Fraser could leave in the final hours of deadline day as other clubs get desperate.
“It’s clear he has no future at Newcastle,” McManus told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“I haven’t seen anything about clubs being interested in him since the start of the month. He can’t even get on the bench for Newcastle so it doesn’t look good for him.
“The only hope is that some clubs get desperate on deadline day and someone takes a punt on him. I can’t see him getting back into the Newcastle team if he stays, it’s grim.
“So that will be another six months of doing nothing until he goes in the summer. He really needs that move now but I don’t think he is going to get it.”

Fraser has made eight Premier League appearances this term though only three of those have been starts.
The winger has made 59 total appearances for Newcastle, scoring three goals and providing three assists in those outings.
