Pundit hails 'exceptional' Liel Abada after Celtic source's reveal
Alan Hutton has told Celtic to take credit for Liel Abada’s “exceptional” development.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers right-back said “every transfer is a risk” but insisted the Hoops have helped Abada “flourish”.
On Tuesday (27 September), sources told this site that the Parkhead club believe Liel Abada will be worth £15million-plus next year.
Ange Postecoglou and his staff have been impressed with the 20 year-old’s development since his arrival in Glasgow last year.
He joined the Celts from Israeli side Maccabi Petah Tikvah for around £3.5million.
Speaking to Israeli outlet Mako (24 September), the winger said he is capable of playing in the Champions League and is learning the high tempo.

The Israel international added that he believes in himself “very much”.
When asked if Postecoglou’s side are able to take all the credit for the winger’s development, Hutton told Football Insider: “Obviously they have to.
“Every transfer is a risk, you don’t know what’s going to work out and what’s not. He’s been brought in to the Celtic team to play a specific style under the manager and he’s flourished, he’s given him that confidence to play on a high level, whether it be in the league or European competition to go and show what he’s all about.
“Fair play to the player as well because he’s taken that on board and run with it and he’s playing exceptionally well. He scores goals, he creates goals, he works extra hard so he’s bought in to the philosophy of the manager. So I think on both sides they’ve done really well.“
