Pundit: ‘I guarantee’ this is when Kane will quit Tottenham
Harry Kane will move clubs next summer unless Tottenham can challenge for silverware this season, according to Noel Whelan.
The former Leeds striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, ruled out a January switch for the 28-year-old but insisted an exit is on the cards in a year’s time.
Speaking to talkSPORT (31st August), Kane admitted he does not think the summer saga has tarnished his reputation and that his “conscience is clear”.

The England hitman remained at Spurs despite wanting to quit the club amid interest from Manchester City.
City boss Pep Guardiola publicly confessed he wanted to sign the Tottenham star.
Whelan insisted the saga would ramp up again next summer and that Kane would be on his way unless Spurs are challenging for silverware.
Whelan told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “This is not finished by any stretch of the imagination.
“He’ll have a season here with Tottenham. He won’t leave in January.
“He is leaving at the end of the season, I guarantee you, if Tottenham have not progressed to a level he feels he can win things with.
“That is what it’s all about for Harry Kane.
“For a player of his calibre, he’s had a taste of it in the Euros.
“If they don’t do something this season, this is going to raise its ugly head again in the summer. I have absolutely no doubt about it.”

Tottenham have not won a trophy since the League Cup in 2008.
They have reached finals in the Champions League and League Cup since.
In other news, another Tottenham star tipped to quit in January after recent development.
