Pundit issues Leeds verdict after 'very surprising' transfer development
It is “very surprising” and “a bit worrying” that Leeds United are yet to make a signing this month.
That’s according to former Whites stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about where his former side need to improve this month.
Leeds have rarely been able to field their strongest team this season due to an ongoing injury crisis at the club.
Kenny insists Leeds need reinforcements this month and admitted he’s surprised new players haven’t already arrived.
“Really, it’s very surprising Leeds haven’t signed anyone,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“All the talk over the last few months has been that Leeds will get players in as soon as the window opens.
“That hasn’t happened. It’s a bit worrying really because we know how thin the squad is now.
“The benches over the last few weeks have been all academy kids, no offence to them but they aren’t Premier League quality.
“You also have to look at improving your squad when you can. Leeds are doing worse than last season.
“There are improvements to be made but it doesn’t look like anything is close.”
Leeds signed Dan James, Junior Firpo and Jack Harrison during the summer.
Firpo came from Barcelona while James and Harrison arrived from Man United and Man City respectively.
