Pundit issues 'unbelievable' Alexander Isak claim after Newcastle United latest

Newcastle United will beat Bournemouth this weekend and Alexander Isak is likely to score his first home goal for the club.

That’s according to former Leeds United stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider about the Magpies’ form.

Newcastle have only won one game this season and face a managerless Bournemouth on Saturday (17 September).

Isak, 22, made his debut for the club in 31 August’s 2-1 loss to Liverpool, in which he scored the opening goal.

After witnessing his performance, Kenny is expecting the club’s record signing to get on the scoresheet this weekend.

“I look at Bournemouth, I see that 9-0 against Liverpool, they haven’t had a great start,” Kenny told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.

“Newcastle, as I have said before, have been very unlucky this season. This weekend might be their chance to sort everything out and get back to winning ways.

“Isak has looked so bright and the goals he scored against Liverpool, even the offside one, unbelievable. He could get a couple against Bournemouth.

“I think you can give guarantee three points for Newcastle right now, to be honest. Hopefully, some of their injured players are back too.

“That crowd wants a big win and I think they will see one. I’m certain Newcastle will win.”

Newcastle have drawn four and only lost one of their five winless Premier League games this season.

Last term they finished 11th after a much-improved second half of the season.
