Pundit names two Man United stars scared of playing with Ronaldo after agent's reveal
Alan Hutton has suggested Jadon Sancho and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are among the Manchester United players struggling with the pressure of playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
The former Scotland defender, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, admitted the Portuguese superstar’s influence could cause “problems” in the dressing room.
An agent of one United player told Football Insider (22nd November) that Ronaldo’s teammates are “fearful” of not living up to the 36-year-old’s expectations.
The Old Trafford source stated the summer signing is “too powerful in the dressing room”.
Hutton admitted a player of Ronaldo’s influence could cause issues behind closed doors.
He named Wan-Bissaka, 23, and Sancho, 21, as two players who could be overwhelmed behind the scenes.

Hutton told Football Insider’s Russell Edge: “Look, it’s Cristiano Ronaldo, of course he’s going to have a presence. From what he’s done in his career, you’ve got to respect that and give him the respect he deserves.
“It’s difficult sometimes for young players. You think of the likes of Wa-Bissaka, Sancho. These are young guys still learning their trade. They’ve come in for big money and they want to prove themselves.
“Say they don’t play the right pass to Ronaldo or the cross doesn’t get to him and he’s throwing his arms up in the air and he’s not happy. You’re going to feel that pressure.
“Obviously you want to go and do well but it can be a problem. I’ve seen it in the past in different dressing rooms I’ve been in. It does happen.
“Ultimately, you need to understand that you’re at a big club where the pressure and the demands are high. You have to be able to deal with that or there’s no point being there.”
Sancho has scored once in 15 appearances for United since joining this summer.
Meanwhile, Wan-Bissaka has played 16 times this season, without a goal or an assist to his name.
