Pundit thrilled by 'perfect' Celtic recruitment after source's Yuki Kobayashi reveal

Alan Hutton has hailed Ange Postecoglou’s “perfect” Celtic recruitment so far.

Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the former Rangers right-back said there is now an expectation on new signings to hit the ground running straight away.

On Sunday (6 November), sources told this site that the Celts have agreed personal terms with Vissel Kobe defender Yuki Kobayashi.

The Parkhead club are working on a deal to land the centre-back in January and have agreed a contract with the 22-year-old.

According to the Daily Record (6 November), reports from Japan have revealed that the 22-year-old could be set to join the Hoops on a free transfer in January.

Vissel Kobe confirmed that he will leave the club after the conclusion of their J-League season and it has been revealed that his contract will expire and Kobe won’t receive a fee.

Hutton praised the work Postecoglou has done on the recruitment side so far ahead of Kobayashi’s potential arrival.

You just have to look at the recruitment in the past from Ange and his team,” he told Football Insider.

It has all been perfect so far, especially coming from that part of the world. There will come a bit of expectation with his future signings coming in because the others have done so well.

I expect them to hit the ground running and to be at a level that we have seen through the likes of Kyogo [Furuhashi] and [Daizen] Maeda.

It is exciting times at the moment for Celtic. They look strong and they are not sitting still, they are looking to progress even more and really stamp their authority on the league this year.
