Wolverhampton Wanderers have announced the news that they will be taking up the option of making the loan move of Atletico forward Diogo Jota a permanent one in the summer, and fans are delighted.
According to the club’s official Twitter page and website, the 12-goal hitman has been considered such a success that they want to extend the player’s stay in the West Midlands.

And the news has been met with jubilation on social media as supporters of the Molineux club have taken to Twitter to express their delight.
Most reactions were a simple ‘Yes,’ while others went further with memes of people dancing in delight after hearing the announcement.
The Portuguese starlet has quickly become a hit during his spell with Wolves, and along with Brazilian Leo Bonatini, the two have fired the club to the top of the Championship with 24 goals between them – almost half of the 51 the club have notched up in total.
Jota will now be able to test himself in the Premier League next season where he will come up against some of the toughest defences in Europe.
And the 21-year-old will be able to celebrate the news with the Wolves faithful on Saturday if he can return to goalscoring form against Sheffield United at Molineux.
