Radio silence on key player only adds intrigue to Celtic clash v Rangers
The stakes couldn’t be higher when Celtic take on Rangers at Celtic Park on Sunday.
A win for the Hoops would see them clinch the title for the seventh season in a row, and even better for the Hoops support it would be against their biggest rivals.
To make sure the Hoops triumph, they would want to pick their strongest available side, which of course would mean key player Moussa Dembele starting. But there are doubts about the availability of the 21-year-old for the match.
The Daily Record claimed that Dembele would definitely play against the Gers, whilst the Scottish Sun have reported that he is in a battle to be fit for the game, after missing last week’s match against Hibernian.
The club meanwhile, have said nothing, which only adds more intrigue to what is sure to be a huge game on Sunday.

If there is one player that Brendan Rodgers would love to have available for the clash against the Light Blues it is Dembele, who has dominated the Gers in the two most recent matches against them, particularly in the Scottish Cup clash at Hampden earlier this month, where the Gers defence just couldn’t cope with him.
Hoops fans will be hopeful that when the team is announced on Sunday, Dembele is on the team-sheet, all guns blazing and ready to clinch the league title.
If he misses out though, it could lead to a tricky situation for the Bhoys, as one of their best players will be missing a huge game.
