‘Rafael Leao wants to join Arsenal’ as new Declan Rice footage emerges
Arsenal fans are convinced Rafael Leao is keen to move to the Emirates this summer after what they saw during their friendly against AC Milan.
Mikel Arteta’s side won 1-0 during their tour of Singapore thanks to Bukayo Saka’s second-half strike, before a pre-arranged penalty shootout ended 6-5 to Milan.
However, the outcome of the game faded into the background of some supporters’ minds after footage emerged of a conversation between Leao and Declan Rice.
Former Man United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 18 May that Arsenal will accelerate their interest in signing Leao if they can sell Gabriel Martinelli.
Now, fans are convinced that the Portugal international wants to make the move to the Premier League this summer as part of Arteta’s ambitious plans.

Arsenal have pulled off four signings already this summer in Kepa Arrizabalaga, Martin Zubimendi, Noni Madueke and Christian Norgaard, and are showing no signs of slowing down.
Both Viktor Gyokeres and Cristhian Mosquera are expected to arrive at the Emirates in the coming days after deals were agreed with Sporting CP and Valencia respectively.
Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on 22 July that Arsenal are accelerating plans to sign Eberechi Eze from Crystal Palace this summer.
While Palace are set to stand by the England international’s £68million release clause, there is a growing feeling that the Gunners could soon make a move.
