Ragnar Klavan sends message to Liverpool fans, delivers verdict on Stoke clash
By Harvey Byrne
Ragnar Klavan thanked Liverpool fans for their support after the “difficult” victory against Stoke on Tuesday evening.
The 31-year-old Estonia international started the match in the Reds’ back four, playing the full 90 minutes in his side’s 4-1 victory.
Liverpool fell behind early after Jonathan Walters put Stoke ahead, but goals from Adam Lallana, Roberto Firmino, Daniel Sturridge and a Giannelli Imbula own goal ensured the Reds kept all three points at Anfield.
Summer signing Klavan sent a video message to supporters via the club’s official Twitter account, thanking them, while stating that it was a good three points from a tough match.

Klavan has moved into the club’s back four after star centre-back Joel Matip suffered an ankle injury early in the month.
The Estonian has started the club’s last three matches, playing in 10 encounters in total after joining from Bundesliga side Augsburg in the summer.
He has seemingly helped a previously struggling back four with Simon Mignolet also coming in with Liverpool conceding just one goal in their last three matches.
The win on Tuesday has seen the Reds move back into second place, six points behind league leaders Chelsea with a tough clash against Manchester City at Anfield coming up next.
