It will likely be to confirm appointments to Steven Gerrard’s backroom team or to introduce Scott Arfield as a Rangers player after his Burnley deal ended – although it could also be to formally announce the departures of Jimmy Nicholl and jonatan Johansson. Everything like this is going to get Gers fans excited as they wait to see what the latest news to come from Ibrox as. For the first time in a few years there’s a genuine feeling on anticipation around the Gers and despite the disappointing end to the 17/18 season, Gers fans are already desperate to get the summer over with and get straight back into competitive games. Whatever the news that comes from Ibrox is, fans are in for an interesting few weeks until Gerrard officially takes the reins on June 1st and takes his first steps into management and tries to stop Celtic’s recent dominance of Scottish football.
