Rangers manager Graeme Murty must make one change to the side which beat Hearts 2-1 last weekend and hand a shock Old Firm start to midfielder Jordan Rossiter.
The rarely-seen midfielder has barely featured since his move north from Liverpool in 2016 but after playing in the last few games for the Gers Under-20s should be thrown in at the deep end against Celtic with Josh Windass making way.
Wes Foderingham’s shoulder injury will mean another start for Jak Alnwick with James Tavernier, Ross McCrorie, Russell Martin and Declan John lining up ahead of him in the Gers’ back four.
Rossiter and Jason Holt should be paired in central midfield with Rossiter just sitting in front of the defence and looking to break things up while Holt uses his boundless energy to press the Hoops midfielders.
Daniel Candeias and Jamie Murphy must start on the wings and look to be more effective than when the sides met at Hampden a few weeks ago while Graham Dorrans should fill the number 10 role normally filled by Windass.
After hitting the net against Hearts last weekend, Jason Cummings should get the nod ahead of Alfredo Morelos in attack with the 22-year-old Scotland international looking to win a permanent move to Ibrox in the summer.
With Celtic crowned champions if they pick up three points against Murty’s side, there will be an almost unique pressure on both sides with the last time the title could be sealed in an Old Firm clash came in 1999.
