Rangers complete paperwork as five new arrivals head in

Rangers have officially confirmed three departures and the appointment of five new directors, sources have told Football Insider.

As per Companies House submissions on 5 and 6 June, Graeme Park, Julian Wolhaardt and Alastair Johnston have all seen their roles as directors officially terminated at Ibrox.

Meanwhile, Paraag Marathe, Andrew Cavenagh, Mark Taber, Eugene Schneur and Andrew Clayton have all been appointed to the Rangers board.

It comes after the Scottish giants announced on 30 May the US consortium has now completed its takeover after receiving the approval of the Scottish FA.

The ownership group is spearheaded by health insurance tycoon Cavenagh and Leeds United chairman Marathe, who is the president of 49ers Enterprises – the investment arm of NFL franchise the San Francisco 49ers.

Patrick Stewart, Fraser Thornton, John Halsted and George Taylor will all remain on the Rangers board alongside the new arrivals.
